Lena Nazarian joined Love Funding in 2013 to oversee asset management of the company’s projects, primarily during construction and stabilization. Lena has over 15 years of experience in various aspects of housing development and finance. She has specialized in the acquisition, development and finance of affordable and mixed-income multifamily rental housing and offers extensive experience in working on complex projects financed with low-income housing tax credits (LIHTC), taxable and tax-exempt bonds and multiple funding sources. Her current role has expanded to include oversight of the Love Funding portfolio and head the asset management division. Prior to joining Love Funding, Lena served as a housing acquisition manager and later as an asset manager for a nationally recognized housing authority, the Housing Opportunities Commission of Montgomery County (HOC). Lena is a HUD designated construction loan administrator (CLA). She graduated with honors from American University with a Bachelor of Arts, Magna Cum Laude.
