Chad Ricks

Mr. Ricks joined Love Funding in 2003 as a manager in the company’s St. Louis headquarters. Upon his promotion to director in 2005, he relocated to the company’s Dallas office. In this capacity, Mr. Ricks handles loan origination for multifamily, healthcare, affordable housing properties. In 2008, Mr. Ricks was awarded the annual Love Cup for highest producing originator for that given year.  Mr. Ricks has been in the financial industry since 1997 with a focus in banking services and commercial real estate.

Prior to working with Love Funding, Mr. Ricks initiated his career at Edward Jones as a consultant for new offices. He then earned a position with Bunge North America, Inc. (BNAI) as a treasury analyst, where he was responsible for managing a $3.5 billion loan program.

Mr. Ricks is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) candidate and has passed all four CCIM courses. He has also taken numerous HUD MAP courses and completed Introduction to Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities from the Mortgage Bankers Association of America. Other credentials he has earned include passing Level one of the Chartered Financial Analyst exam and being a CFA candidate and passing the Texas Real Estate Salesperson Exam.

Mr. Ricks holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Master of Business Administration, both with an emphasis in finance, from the University of Missouri. He is also a member of the Austin Apartment Association, Apartment Association of Greater Dallas, Houston Apartment Association, National Apartment Association, Treasurer for the Southwest Mortgage Advisory Council, North Texas Commercial Association of Real Estate Professionals, Assisted Living Federation of America and National Investment Center.
