Mr. Anvar joined Love Funding in 2005 and was promoted to director of loan originations in 2008 with Love Funding’s Washington D.C. office. In this capacity, he is responsible for placing a wide range of real estate debt, equity and structured finance products. In addition to his role with Love Funding, Mr. Anvar is President of LFC Securities, LLC. Previously, Mr. Anvar was an investment associate for Love Funding where he was instrumental in placing over $300 million of debt and equity for multifamily, retail, office, industrial, hospitality, and senior housing and healthcare properties throughout the country.
Mr. Anvar has over 10 years experience in all aspects of commercial real estate, including finance, capital markets and development. Prior to joining Love Funding, he worked at Trammell Crow Company as an MBA Associate, where he was in charge of financial analysis for the commercial real estate sector. His previous experience also includes serving as an analyst at Morgan Stanley and as a prime broker at Charles Schwab Institutional.
Although he currently resides in Washington D.C., Mr. Anvar was raised in Arizona. He graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science in finance and earned his MBA from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. He is currently a member of the Urban Land Institute and holds FINRA Series 7, 53 and 63 licenses.
