Mr. Vanar joined Love Funding’s Los Angeles office in 2011 as a senior director. In this role, he is primarily responsible for the origination of FHA-insured construction and permanent loans for developers and owners of apartments, senior living and health care properties.
Prior to joining Love Funding, Mr. Vanar was vice president & FHA national production manager at AmeriSphere Mortgage Finance, LLC. His background also includes serving as a senior member of the project financing team at MacKenzie House, LLC where he was responsible for all aspects of debt structuring, loan solicitation, financial analysis and closing. Mr. Vanar also spent several years as a commercial real estate broker with Marcus & Millichap in Newport Beach, CA where he managed the acquisition and disposition of investment property assets for large institutional clients & high net worth individuals in the western United States. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and frequently participates in industry-related training seminars and conferences on Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and HUD Multifamily Accelerated Processing.
