Ms. Tate joined Love Funding in August 2004 as a senior director. In this capacity, she serves as an FHA originator for apartments and senior housing.
Ms. Tate has nearly 15 years of experience in the mortgage banking industry serving as both an FHA/MAP approved underwriter and loan originator. Prior to joining Love Funding, she served as senior vice president for Evanston Financial Corporation and its largest loan producer. Her professional accomplishments include closing the first new construction elderly housing loan insured by HUD and subsidized with Low Income Housing Tax Credits from the Tennessee Housing Development Agency. She also was instrumental in working with the Richmond Insuring office and the developers of a historic school for the substantial rehab of a low-income assisted living center. The sale of the historic tax credits was used to provide additional equity to the developers.
