Laura Saull-Smith joined Love Funding in 1990 and currently holds the position of a senior director of commercial origination. In this capacity, Laura is responsible for loan origination and brings 30+ years of experience to her position in the mortgage banking industry.
Over the course of her career, she has underwritten approximately $5 billion in FHA, FHLMC, FNMA & Wall Street Conduit Transactions. She has originated and closed 122 transactions, totaling approximately $1 billion. Laura has repeatedly been awarded the honor of top producer during her tenure with Love Funding.
Laura is a member of several organizations including the Mortgage Banker’s Association (MBA), National Multi Housing Council (NMHC), Urban Land Institute (ULI), Home Builder’s Association/National Council on Seniors Housing, National Association for Executives (NAFE), , American Health Care Association (AHCA), National Center for Assisted Living (NCAL), Assisted Seniors Housing Association (ASHA), NIC (National Investment Center), and the National Association for Mental Illness (NAMI).
Laura holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and German from West Chester University and the University of Marburg, Germany. In 1992, she received her MBA from American University in real estate finance.
