Jonathan S. Camps

Mr. Camps joined Love Funding’s Washington D.C. office in 1999 as a loan production specialist. He currently serves as vice president - FHA chief underwriter. In this position, Mr. Camps is responsible for the complete oversight and quality control of all transactions submitted to the U.S. Department of HUD. In addition, Mr. Camps oversees the entire FHA underwriting and processing staff for all Love Funding offices, and he is responsible for the expansion of the FHA underwriting department.

Mr. Camps has more than ten years of experience as an underwriter for property debt transactions; five of those years have been focused on providing financing for senior housing and healthcare properties. He has underwritten over $150 million in Senior Housing and Healthcare transactions and over $150 million in multifamily transactions. In 2005 and 2006, Mr. Camps received Love Funding’s “Best Service Award.”

Mr. Camps holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Maryland.
