Mr. Rist joined Love Funding in 2004 as a vice president-senior loan originator in the Detroit office. In this capacity, he is responsible for arranging the best financing structure, at the lowest rate and cost, which exceeds the expectations of our clients. He has more than 25 years of experience managing investment portfolios, negotiating and closing property sales and originating loans.

Prior to joining Love Funding, Mr. Rist worked for Arbor Commercial Mortgage where he was responsible for the origination of FHA, Fannie Mae and conduit financing, as well as focusing on the refinance of HUD 202 direct loans, FHA Section 236 decouplings and FHA 223(f) loans. He has also been employed by Grubb and Ellis where he served as director of investment services. In this position, Mr. Rist originated and closed more than $250 million in transactions for apartments, office, industrial and retail properties.

Mr. Rist earned his Bachelor of Arts in accounting from Michigan State University. He also holds a Master of Science in Real Estate from Georgia State University as well as a Master of Science in Taxation from DePaul University.
