Mr. Jones joined Love Funding in 2000. As first vice president — senior loan originator with Love Funding’s New York office, Mr. Jones is responsible for the origination of a wide range of real estate debt and equity products. He has worked extensively on the HUD’s Mark-to-Market restructuring program, refinancing over 130 223a7’s. Mr. Jones has also financed Low Income Housing Tax Credit deals, Section 236 loans and senior housing and healthcare assets.

Prior to joining Love Funding, Mr. Jones’ business career centered on securities sales, such as interest rate swaps, caps and options, and taxable fixed income securities, including CMBS at Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette and at Legg Mason. While working as vice president for the Federal Home Loan Bank of New York, Mr. Jones maintained relationships with 120 financial institutions, including banks, thrifts, life companies and credit unions in New York, New Jersey and Puerto Rico.

Mr. Jones graduated from Skidmore College in Saratoga Spring, New York with a bachelor’s degree in economics and history. He was awarded a master’s degree in real estate development from the Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation at Columbia University.
